E3 2017: The 5 most exciting new video games

B efore the giant  E3  video game exhibition takes place every year, it is proceeded by a series of vast press events, where publishers hope to snag just a little of the world’s attention with their latest mega releases. Filling huge venues and live-streamed to a global audience of millions, these one-hour hype-fests can make all the difference between blockbusting success and ignoble failure. Here, then, are our 5 favourite announcements, culled from all the pre-E3 shows. We’ve stuck to games that were either revealed for the first time on stage, or were finally confirmed after months of gossip, leaks and rumours. These are the titles we want to discover more about at the show, and over the months to come. One Plus 5:Release Date and Leaks.

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of its much-awaited flagship OnePlus 5 on June 22. According to latest reports, the smartphone might bring back the OnePlus invite system that requires people to have an invite to be able to buy a OnePlus device. The OnePlus 5 is scheduled to launch in India on June 22 at an event organised in NSCI Dome, Mumbai. OnePlus is selling to eager fans for Rs 999 invites that give them entry to the unveiling event along with a few other rewards such as T-shirts, travel backpack, and sunglasses. The interesting bit that comes with the event invite is the mention of “Invite holders will receive a OnePlus 5 invite code at the launch event” suggesting the return of the much-criticised OnePlus invite system back for the sale of OnePlus 5. Need For Speed Payback | Nov 10,2017.

Today Electronic Arts revealed its next vroom-vroom game, Need for Speed Payback, which will be out November 10 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Developed by the Swedish studio Ghost Games, Need for Speed Payback appears to be heavily inspired by the Fast and the Furious movies, which ain’t a bad thing. You can see the first trailer above. EA will talk more about the game next week during its pre-E3 event, EA Play, which starts on Saturday, June 10. Prepare for lots of vroom-vrooms. Ghost Games and EA have today confirmed the 2017 instalment of its juggernaut racing series will be called Need for Speed Payback and it will release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 10.
